New Bat Model

We have created a new bat model which really kicks @ss!
Features of the old and new have been merged so the old textures dont have to be redone and we can still use Appu's great new textures too.
Here's some pix...this is very exciting, coinciding with the new player model creation also. The previous bat was a bit chunky, not so smooth and just a little bit ugly...but this one is really s3xy

ok people.....here are the two umpire models....fat and normal
with ODI and test kits......!!
the batsman model with the whole gear will be up soon....may be by tomorrow....!
till then enjoy the pix !!
ANNOUNCEMENT :
Myself and LM have now decided to include some innovative cricketing
shots into the batting system which includes the likes
of
-Paddle Sweep
-Lofted Paddle Sweep(Misbah-ul-haq style)
-Lofted Reverse Sweep(KP Style)
-Over-The-Keeper's Head Shot (The One which Tendulkar used
during the ODI Finals at the AUS tour)
will start working on these animations once i finish all the new model
stuff....!! definitely looking fwd to it !

the surprise we have been hinting about is this -
NEW PLAYER MODELS
Now, before you see the screens, i gotta say a few things...
Q) you probably want to ask why? The old models were ok i guess, so why did we waste this extra time doing new models when we should be coding AI and stuff?
A) Several reasons, all of which totally justify the 2 weeks or so spent. Firstly, look at the comparison between the old and the new -
whoah, massive difference folks! You dont realise sometimes just how much something sux until you see a much better version of the same thing

TAOC Back on Track !

Hello people. Sorry for the 2 month hiatus. I had to move to another city and hence
couldnt find the time nor a computer to work on TAOC.....and Paul on the other hand
was caught up with his work and social life.
We have a special update to announce very soon, which is essentially a presentational enhancement, but a critical one that solves many issues and bugs that were causing massive headaches. Stay tuned. expect this to be announced in a week or so.
I think i can officially say things are well back on track now!
This Would Be My Work List :-
- Working on the Special Update. (IN-Progress)
- Improve Batting Anims
- Create Asgiriya Stadium Kandy.
- Add Stadium Landscapes.
- Fix up Eden Park NZ Texturing
- Fix up Eden Gardens Kolkata and add trees etc..
- Improve/Add Bowling & Fielding Anims.
- Create Johannesburg Stadium
- Add Celebration/Disappointment Anims
- Create Barbados Stadium
- Create Dhaka Stadium

hello people...i have started my own blog www.indiancricket.asia with the help of wordpress & it is being collaborated by Paul Snell(legend_master).this blog will cover all the news, stories and gossip surrounding Indian Cricket as well as cricket around the globe.
you must be wondering that with millions of cricket websites present, why start one or whats different in it ?
well, it wont be something alien or out of the box.....! but it will definitely be different than the usual cricketing blogs......!! the main reason for starting this blog was to reach a wider audience other than planetcricket for The Art Of Cricket.other reasons include it being like a pet project, for fun and love of cricket...
hence, i would request the members especially TAOC supporters to register
in the website, post comments/discussions etc as this will eventually increase
the traffic making the blog more and more popular by the day resulting in it being appearing in the first 10-20 searches in google.
my aim is to make the site a part of the google first 10 list of search if the person searches anything related to "Indian Cricket". this is will make TAOC to be known by a huge audience.
